Howdy Y'all!
I'm not saying the usual, you know by now I'm late when making these blog post.
To kick things off I'm going to mention what's been going down on my YouTube,
- My Splatoon Reaction Video went alot more positively than I expected, that was just a throwaway video I had in my Backlog & it got over 100 Views in less than a week, as of right now It has more views than the 3 Parts of The PC Gaming Show 2015 combined...which was..the video I wanted to get to get more attention on...Oops, I can throw in the towel though, The Reason those videos probably didn't do as well was because of the new upload schedule I was doing at the time, each part was being posted once a week, at the time I was posting more frequently, like 3 videos a week. I overworked myself & got Creator Block for awhile & was told to slow my upload rate doing so I can have more breaks inbetween...and that didn't really work things out, If anything it made me more stressed & less people were interested in staying around as a result, I have since changed the schedule to be 2 videos a week which has proven to be the better choice, the other reason why those videos didn't do so well was because the algorithm favors longer single videos as opposed to Multipart specials, in retrospect it should've been a 2 Parter, each part was 10 Minutes, it should have been 15.
- My State of Play June 2025 video brought things back to normal with decent views, the only reason that video doesn't have more was because it's a very Very Veeeeeeeeerrrrrrryyyyyy late upload, posting a 2025 video just barely a month before 2026.
- Speaking of Years changing, I celebrated the entrance into this year with my friends in Animal Crossing City Folk, It's a very vulgar video but very funny as a result, lotta jokes about the lower region..so many...It ended up getting Above Average Views & that's always nice.
- The Start of my New Schedule began with this video, I watched the Xbox Developer Direct from January of 2026, I had alot of fun editing that one, I got to throw so many visual gags & memes, It made it feel like an Early E3 parody video. I don't even care that it only got 10 views, I had my fun.
- I watched the Nintendo Direct for TomoDachi Life:Living the Dream, it was a surprisingly easy video to make jokes for, the direct had a Beginning/Middle/End Story line in that I could riff on, I watched the US version specifically, the UK version was so much more funnier than the jokes I could come up with, European Mii are savages, Angie who's the main character of the Direct is not a good person & got every bad thing that was coming to her as well as several Mii now that I've played the actual game for the past couple of weeks.
- Mistake number two, I went back to 2025, it was something just another video sitting in my backlog, I needed to do something with it, boy howdy it made it weird watching reveals for games I already knew about thanks to reviews, for the most part anyway, I made sure not to get spoiled for the rest of the games that were shown, it was basically one big guessing game to see which games would appear in it & I got 3 out of the 9 games that were in it. View count was slightly below Average.
- Mistake number three, we're still in 2025, I watched the Xbox Presentation for the Tokyo Game Show, I also had a heck of a time editing that one, It's always enjoyable having a Running gag to rely on whenever a New Monster Hunter game gets announced & there's a cat as a guest star, It got Average views which is not bad.
My next 2 videos will be the Nintendo Direct that came out of February of 2026 & the New not gonna be New anymore State of Play which came out This Week of June, after that I'm gonna free topic some videos, I got alot of Older Presentations from 2006/07 that I wanna work on, they've been sitting in my drive for almost 3 years now at this point.
Coming Home to Newgrounds, in regards to progress I plan many things, some stuck in 1st drafts but dang it I'm gonna try.
As y'all saw in my Gallery I've taken a liking to making art of Blaziken, this is part of a plan to make more silly animations in the near future, I really want to add more variety to this account, gotta have more than just Bonus Stage stuff y'know, doesn't mean I'll be stopping though.
Blaziken has been the most expressive character that I've drawn in a long time & I wanna extent that little trip I've played with into full on Animations, so be expecting Pokemon cartoons to be popping up in the next 2 years or so XP.
Related to that I do want to focus on Shorter Animations, 3/4 Minutes at Most, 10 Seconds atleast, It'll help kick things into gear for this account to be animation focused then obviously all of them will be put on YouTube a day after or on the same day if I'm lucky.
My Experience so far on this site has been a mostly positive one, not to say I've gotten hate, at worst I've gotten Oddly Vague & Condescending Comments that aren't related to the post & I'm going to be frank, I don't really know how to take comments like that, they're not negative but they aren't really positive either, Weird people just keep showing up sometimes, that's just the world we live in right now, I guess it just comes with the territory. I can't claim to be normal, most of my Inspirations either Insane/Crazy or just don't give a sh*t about most things.
My health is..unpredictable as ever, I got Food Poisoning & that was not fun & put me back 2 weeks, that 4:3 Monitor I bought was my worst enemy, the brightness is low in comparison to my regular monitor but for those weeks it looks like the sun itself was in my room, binging One Piece Sucked So Much! Everytime I blinked it felt like a Flash bang, Thank God It's Over!
That's about it for now, I have basically bumped everything from my brain into this Update, More art is coming soon & that's about it, Until then I wish you all a safe one, buh-bye~!
