I'll get the video stuff out of the way first.
I watched the Last OG Switch Direct & the 1st Switch 2 Direct, both made pretty decent numbers & one of my cousins like it & it was nice to hear from them.
The Video I'm currently working on is going to be focused on the PSP Presentation & so far the editing process has been...tough to say the least, there are a lot of moments during the show where the audio will just go in the red & completely overpower my voice, even when I lower the volume there's just another section of the vid where it gets really loud, so I've got my work cut out for me in more ways then one.
I missed out on 5 presentations, The Summer Game fest, State of Play, Xbox Direct, The PC Gaming Show & the Nintendo Direct & from what I heard they already released another Direct afew days before writing this, so that's 6 I've missed out on now.
I am really behind & it didn't help that the weather & constant sickness befalled us all these weeks, it's extremely demotivating, I've already taken so many breaks as is & now I've been taking breaks from those breaks & These videos are supposed to be me taking a break from animation.
Speaking of which no progress on future animations, there still plans and 1st drafts, I still want to do a 6 Minute Cartoon at some point but I'm struggling to write the rest of it, I wrote the beginning & ending but I have no middle which is not the first time I've had a problem like that, there was an SFM video series I made where I worked on Parts 1,2 & 4 but forgot to make a 3 & that threw everything off.
Thankfully I'm active in other aspects, I'm working on Art more, Diet Stage just hit 900 Views on YouTube & I'm working on a piece to celebrate that, also 1K Subscribers, I sincerely did not see that one coming.
I did those Hot Topic pictures with a friend group & that was just a fun activity to do.
Now for an Off Tangent, No it's not a rant, this is an Actual IRL Experience!
I've been on abit of a shopping spree online, especially on eBay, I bought some 2006 Mario Figures...then the dog ate one of them so I had to buy second set in surprisingly better quality, the 1st set had questionable paint jobs & one of them just couldn't stand on their own, the 2nd set had very clean quality paint jobs and all of them could stand on their own aside from Luigi having a slight crick in his neck.
I got a package of RGB Lights...Am I cool now? Does this make me hip? Am I skibidi steamed hams Ohio? ... I think I threw up in my mouth, they're very pretty & look great at night, I can make my room look like the inside of an Xbox 360 or the Inside of a Hot Topic and yes, even a McDonalds, I have way too much fun.
I bought a Custom Pro-Controller for $17, I haven't tried on Switch yet but it works great on the phone & makes for a decent remote for the next product I bought.
I bought a Miniature 90's Television for $10, It isn't a real TV but it's meant to be the closest cheapest thing to it, it's basically fancy Phone case with a magnifying glass but dang it really give off that old Portable TV vibe like nobodies business, that's why I bought the Pro-Controller, Once you slide your phone into the case, you have no access to the screen, the controller fixes that a little bit, it works great for watching YouTube Videos & playing Emulators, it doesn't work well with the browser which I didn't really buy the TV for browser use anyway, so it kinda works out in the end.
I like watching 90's & Early 2000's shows on it, especially MTV, I've been on a kick for that lately, very fun stuff, of course I put Star Wars on it with a wireless Speaker base boosting the theme, what else would I do with it?
These next things were just for pure Nostalgia alone.
I bought what might be the last Toy Island Sonic Mini Figures in Existence, they were just sitting on eBay for 2 years straight, over 50 people had it listed in their carts but I came in & bought it for $50, it's like walking in on a Museum talking about an Ancient Artifact that's not been touched for centuries but then my dumb self casually walks in & buys it for cheap.
There used to be this series on YouTube called the Sonic Show & the mini figures were the stars of the show, so when I saw that they were in perfect condition & being sold for that low of a price I just had to get them, I own my childhood TV stars now, ain't that neat?
Now the final item I bought is very Nostalgic but I never actually owned one, I bought an iPod Nano 3rd Generation, why, same reason why I bought an Anbernic, tiny screen, it can play video & I grew up seeing a lot of adverts showing off how you could play abunch of Flash Cartoons on an iPod for free, so now I finally get to do that once the battery & charger come in, making little kid me very happy right now....but also screw him, he said I was going to die at the age of 26, what a jerk.
I'm 26 now, take that me, I lived.
Soooo that's been what I've been doing IRL and I hope this Update was an enjoyable read, until next time I hope you all stay safe & have a fantastic couple of months, buh-bye~.
